When Blagoy Filipov enrolled in the advanced piano course at the Stuttgart College of Music in 1990, he started to gain his first experience as a teacher in this field. Since 1998 he has been teaching the piano, working with both beginners as well as experienced pupils and students. What is important to him is not only teaching his students how to play well technically but also to give them a deeper understanding of what is fundamentally beautiful about the music they are playing. He tries to convey his conviction to the pupils that by playing music oneself, it is possible to develop and strengthen one’s own personality. Thus this can help everyone to master the many difficult situations in our lives which, whether we like it or not, each of us has to confront at some stage or another.
